Ross Depperschmidt is a midfielder from Flower Mound, Texas. He played in 12 matches during the 2022 MLR season and earned Tip 7 honors in the Premier Rugby Sevens tournament in Washington, D.C. He has played club rugby for New Orleans RFC. Ross played football and baseball at Edward S. Marcus high school before attending the University of Alabama and earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2018. Ross played rugby while at Alabama and was the co-captain of the team from 2015-2017, the Vice President from 2015-2016, Alumni Chairperson in 2016-2017, and Assistant Coach in 2017-2018. He also played representative rugby for USARugby South and played in New Zealand.
