About the Job

The Retail and E-Commerce Manager will oversee all aspects of our team store, e-commerce platform, private label collections, event sales, retail partnerships, and licensing opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in retail and e-commerce management, a passion for sports, and the ability to develop and execute strategies that drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  •  

Team Store

  • – Set and achieve new game record sales targets
  • – Aim for overall sales improvement of 20% compared to last year
  • – Increase profit margins, ensuring they do not fall below 2.2 per product
  • – Manage inventory, pricing, and promotions to maximize profitability
  •  

E-Commerce

  • – Set and achieve new game record sales targets online
  • – Aim for overall sales improvement of 20% compared to last year
  • – Increase profit margins, ensuring they do not fall below 2.2 per product
  • – Allocate 5% of monthly sales revenue for online acquisition (ads) to boost sales
  • – Collaborate with the email marketing team to enhance visibility and engagement
  • – Explore partnerships to sell our products on other online platforms

Private NOLA Gold Label

  • – Develop and launch a NOLA Gold Collection, including Men’s, Women’s, Kids’, and Accessories lines
  • – Start with a basic collection and expand it over the season
  • – Focus on creating high-margin products and reducing dependency on league partners for timing and delivery
  • – Collaborate with suppliers for cost-effective production, leveraging partner relationships for better pricing

Team Street/Events

  • – Identify and participate in events where a NOLA Gold booth or trailer can be set up to sell products and promote the brand
  • – Engage in markets, festivals, and special events
  • – Coordinate with the team store staff to manage these events
  •  

Retail Opportunities

  • – Explore and establish retail partnerships in New Orleans
  • – Identify potential sports stores, tourist stores, airport shops, and other retail locations to sell NOLA Gold products
  •  

Licensing

  • – Develop strategies for brand licensing
  • – Explore collaborations with other brands to enhance product offerings and brand visibility
  •  

Qualifications

  • – Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field
  • – Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in retail and e-commerce management
  • – Proven ability to drive sales and profitability
  • – Strong understanding of online marketing and e-commerce strategies
  • – Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • – Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • – Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • – Passion for sports and a strong understanding of the rugby market is a plus

Compensation Package

Salary

  • Base Salary: $60,000 per year

  • Performance-Based Bonus: Up to 10-15% of annual salary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial processes, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. This role involves managing the month-end close process, financial reporting, and analysis, as well as maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • – Accounting Team Oversight: Supervise and lead the accounting team to ensure efficient and accurate
    financial processing. Mentor team members and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • – Month-End Close: Manage and oversee the month-end close process, ensuring all financial transactions
    are recorded correctly. Coordinate with the accounting team to complete all necessary tasks promptly to
    meet internal deadlines.
  • – Financial Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and present monthly financial statements and other financial
    reports. Ensure reports are accurate and comply with accounting standards. Provide comprehensive
    financial updates to management, highlighting significant financial status and changes.
  • – Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analyses to identify trends, forecast future implications, and
    provide actionable insights to aid strategic and operational decision-making. Collaborate with department
    heads to understand financial needs and scenarios.
  • – General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain the integrity of the general ledger by ensuring all transactions are
