I’ve been going to Gold games since they started playing on the Westbank during their first season. The move to the Shrine has created a bigger environment for more fans, but at the same time has kept the family feeling that was present before. I have never seen a team of players work so hard within the community – both New Orleans and specifically New Orleans Rugby. We feel like we’re on the field like a college game; but have dry seats. As far as the view…you can’t have mine – the Dugouts have a built in table 😉 and you get to be on top of half of the Trys. Rugby is a game of community; come down and ask me why I’m shouting and you’ll be sure to have an explanation whether you’ve never seen a game before; or if you’ve played for 20 years!
