The NOLA Gold will play on the road in Week 9 as they take on the San Diego Legion at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, CA.
The Gold (4-2-1) are currently first in the Eastern Conference, and second in the MLR with 24 points earned. The San Diego Legion (2-6-0) is fourth in the West, and tenth in the MLR (14 points).
NOLA Gold General Manager Ryan Fitzgerald had this to say ahead of the Gold-Legion match:
“San Diego is tough…they’ve had our number for a couple of years. They’ve always been a very strong side, I know they’ve been [plagued] with injuries this year…but it doesn’t matter. We prepare the same way.”
The Gold will return to play at home against the Utah Warriors on May 22, at 7:00 pm. This will be the first night game of the season, with a fireworks show after the game.
