Gretna native and New Orleans Pelicans guard Elfrid Payton showed his West Bank pride by joining the NOLA Gold for their game against the Houston Sabercats on Saturday, May 18.
After the Gold’s game, Payton and NOLA captain Eric Howard swapped jerseys, showing camaraderie within the local professional sports scene, while showing their New Orleans spirit!
The Elfrid Payton Foundation will be hosting the 3rd Annual Elfrid Payton Foundation Charity Kickball Tournament on Saturday, June 29th.
On Sunday, June 30th Payton will host a free youth basketball clinic. Both events are free and open to the community.
