Paint the city Gold this Mardi Gras season. Enjoy the highest level of professional rugby the Crescent City has to offer.
Just like other cities host carnival celebrations, no one throws a party better than New Orleans. And no one offers a more unique rugby culture than The NOLA Gold.
Rugby is the oldest, active full-contact sport in America and Europe. It began before American football, and its influences can be found with ‘touchdowns’, ‘goal posts’, and ‘line-of scrimmage” (scrums).
The sport has grown internationally since the first days of Mardi Gras hitting the streets on the Gulf Coast in the 1800s. It’s rich history as a club sport began in New Orleans nearly fifty years ago on the Lakefront in the 1970s.
NOLA Gold Rugby serves as a featured franchise as unique to the sport as the city is to the rest of the planet.
