Rodney Iona

Rodney Iona is a flyhalf from Melbourne, Australia. In Australia, Iona played for the Tuggeranong Vikings from 2011-2016, as well as the Brumbies Academy, where he won the World Club Sevens Championship in 2013. He also netted time with the Moorabbin Rams RFC. In the National Rugby Championship, Iona made 15 appearances with the Canberra Vikings; in the Super Rugby series, he contracted with the Brumbies. Iona then took his talents to Europe. In France, he played for Pro D2 Club Béziers, during the 2016-2017 season. From 2017 to 2019, he played for Spanish side UE Santboiana. Finally, in 2019 and 2020, Iona made appearances for the Jersey Reds in the English Championship until he returned to Australia to play for Melbourne Rising and, again, the Brumbies. In international duty, he has made 5 appearances for the Samoan national team.
