George Sharpe is a hooker from Easton on the Hill, Nottinghamshire, UK. He moved to Releigh, North Carolina for high school, where he represented the North Carolina All-Star Varsity Team in 2015-2016; he also played for the USA Rugby South U19s that year. In college, Sharpe played for Arkansas State University from 2016-2021, reaching the Varsity Cup in 2016-2017 and captaining the team in 2020-2021. While at the university, he appeared for the USA Rugby South U19s again in 2016-2017. He represented USA Rugby twice more; once for the USA Rugby South Panthers senior squad in 2020, once for the USA Select XV in the Americas Pacific Challenge in Montevideo, Uruguay in 2021. Additionally, George is the acting head coach for New Orleans Rugby Club for the 2023 season.
