Dougie Fife

Dougie Fife is an outside back from Edinburgh, Scotland. Though traditionally a wing, he also has experience as fullback and center. The former Free Jack netted 29 starts and 11 tries over the 2021 and 2022 seasons. Before the MLR, Dougie attended Firrhill high school and Telford college, where he excelled on and off the rugby pitch. In his collegiate and post-collegiate studies, Dougie earned two degrees in sports development and coaching. Within the Scottish rugby ecosystem, he played for various teams, including Boroughmuir, Currie 1st XV, Edinburgh, Scotland U17s, U18s, U19s, U20s, Scotland Sevens, and Scotland A. He made his debut for the Senior National Team in 2014, and played for Scotland until 2018. He was also part of the Scotland Sevens team from 2010-2011 and 2016-2020, and was named the Player of the Final in 2016 when they won the London Sevens. During this time, he played 81 times and scored 135 points.
