USA Eagles prop Alex Maughan has joined the Gold for the remainder of the 2019 season. Maughan has come through the USA Rugby development pathway, representing the College All-Americans, USA Selects and USA Eagles.
Before joining NOLA Gold, the 5’10, 235 pound prop was also a multi-year national champion for college rugby heavyweights Life University.
Prior to Life University, Maughan attended Arborbrook Christian Academy and his hometown is Charlotte, North Carolina.
