NOLA Gold got an opportunity to spend time with our armed forces at the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base of New Orleans at their friends and family day. Members of the NOLA Gold staff and several players spent time with military personnel and their families.
The team spent time with the 159th FighterWing of the Louisiana Air National Guard.
“It was a great time,” General Manager Ryan Fitzgerald said. “It was an honor to spend time with them on their friends and family day. It’s always truly special to get to interact with our armed forces and we greatly appreciated the opportunity.”
The players and staff threw the rugby ball around with kids, talked with service members and received a tour of the hanger.
