Artist Tuna Seither finally addresses his longtime association with and passion for the sport of Rugby in this Painting celebrating the Nola Gold. Having an art career heavily focused on sports and in particular the NFL provided the foundation for Tuna’s bold & explosive composition of the Gold in action. This vivid depiction explores both the action on the pitch as well as the rich pageantry of our local culture & customs here in South Louisiana. Immersing the Gold Shield in Mardi Gras colors the Artist sets the stage for all phases of the game with his strategically placed & rendered Gold Players. Combining traditional illustration techniques with his more modern painting style, Tuna seeks to visualize what excites us most about the Great Sport of Rugby & our Hometown Team!
